This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year 25 classes, grades Pre-K to 6, visit the STEM lab weekly. Students' needs vary from being on grade level, to those that have immigrated and are learning English, others have learning/emotional disabilities supported by IEP's and some are academically performing above grade level.

Our STEM lab is having trouble keeping up with students' creativity.

As students have become comfortable with our building materials like Legos and Magnetix, I have noticed their designs are becoming more elaborate.

The problem is we need more supplies to further enhance their creations.
