Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In this class setting students are independently working on retrieving credits for graduation. My students live in a low socio-economic area, and prior failures in class may be due to truancy, having jobs to help the family, pregnancy, juvenile detention time, health problems, etc. Now with this program my school offers, these students have a second chance to catch up on their credits and graduate during regular school hours.

Today's students are technological in every aspect.

Students use their phones to check their class schedule, grades, answer class Kahoot questions, and look up information to engage their learning. With these resources, students can stay connected with full charge and have the necessary tools they need to stay encouraged while knowing they belong. The headphones will be invaluable to students with language barriers who can listen in their native languages without disturbing others.

By donating to the project you will help students have the necessary charge to plug into their education learning, mousepads to navigate smoothly, headphones to reduce noise, and surround them with encouraging decor.
