This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from bilingual homes. Learning English while getting used to a new curriculum is very challenging for them. They are getting academic instructions via WebEx, Google Classroom etc...These platforms are district mandated, and a new device would help enhance learning. Please help me get a MacPro to improve my remote teaching.

My Project

Remote teaching continues to be a challenge. Please help me get a MacBook to improve the quality of my video conference WebEx classes. With current situations, no one knows for sure What will happen in September; as a teacher, I need to prepare myself, and plan for all eventualities. For the time being, my computer is not compatible with current technology needed for remote teaching and learning. Even though it’s working, sometimes sharing screens and videos can be time consuming. This new device will surely make a difference in delivering lessons remotely.
