My first-grade students come into the class ready to learn every day. These eager young minds get so excited to see what our plans are going to be when the day begins. They love trying new activities and working together with their peers. Our classroom uses flexible seating options to keep students engaged in the learning process. The students love to move while they learn! Our school is open to new and fresh ideas to help our students learn best.
My Project
These new materials will enhance each student's learning in our first grade classroom. The Boogie Boards are an amazing learning tool for students to practice handwriting, spelling words and math facts. The boards will also reduce the paper usage in our classroom. This project will allow each student to use their own Boogie Board! The STEM manipulatives will be a great addition to our morning tubs. These materials allow students to show their creativity by building and collaborating with others. The florescent light covers will be added to our classroom to provide a calm learning environment. We currently have four covers and love the effect they give! Thank you again for taking the time to look at our project.
