This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are English Learners. Every year, they are required to take an assessment to meet the criteria for reclassification. It can be challenging for many of them, however they are trying their very best and I’m proud of them.

My Project

I will be able to work on several projects for my students. They should be rewarded for their hard work. For example, I will be able to create reward cards for students who are completing ELPAC or attending a prep session. Each year, our students have to complete four components for ELPAC; Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. These tasks can be very challenging for many of our students. I will also be able to create beautiful name tags for students when they are attending EL events. I will also be able to create posters to cheer up them when testing starts.
