English Language Learners Love to Learn All at School!
Help me give my students new dry erase markers and erasers for everyday learning with our phonics program. Our teachers can now easily write and show examples on a table top dry erase board.
Our ELL Team of teachers see about 150 students daily, many of them in their own rooms. Our English Language Learners are grades 1st - 4th students and all are unique and growing children! These students come from all cultures, areas, and various incomes and need an equal opportunity to learn and thrive.
The ELL students that I see need to practice intense english grammar lessons each day that require reading, comprehension and writing with teachers and paraprofessionals that move from classroom to classroom.
My Project
Once we have our table top white boards, our Awesome Team of ELL teachers will put them right to use everyday, and every hour as we are Intervention teachers and pull out students to do some great English work. The students will be able to write on their mats with new dry erase markers and wipe off their answers quickly and smoothly with new erasers. These tools at the teacher table are used all day long in at least twenty classrooms. We are working so hard with our most lowest ELL students to help them make the correct gains in each grade.
