My Students
I am starting at a new school this year! Even though the new school I will be at is not Title I, I know there will be some struggling readers. It is often difficult to get students motivated to read. Unfortunately, at this time, I don't know anything about the students in my class. I can't wait to meet them and start our year of learning together.
It is awesome to see students get excited about learning.
I try to find things that students are interested in and incorporate them into the classroom. I am also big on getting students up and moving!
My Project
Makey Makeys and Snap Circuit kits will help me learn with my students. Students will be able to practice making circuits and use these electronics to experiment to see how they would be able to use these connections to do various tasks.
Help me develop a love for engineering.
One of my goals is to introduce different careers to students. By having these kits as a part of our classroom, I am hoping to have them add an element to our projects and also create a desire to learn about the job of an engineer. I am excited to learn with my students!
