My students need magna-tiles to help work on the engineering science standards.
My students need to be able to think about how to solve problems and work together to create things. My students love to explore and make things to show me. Even when they are creating patterns with cubes in the classroom during our math time, they come over and show me their creations.
My students are energetic, creative, and social.
They enjoy exploring their world and making representations of what they see. They need new media to meet our new science standards.
My students will be able to create and build patterns, houses, buildings, towers, 2-D pictures, 3-D pieces, and work together to solve problems when building. My students will love the fact that the pieces magnetically stick together to make something. The students will get to experiment with magnetic forces as well.
These Magna-tiles will be used for our new science standards that are coming out to match the Common Core Standards.
The new science standards now incorporate engineering as one of the new skills that they want students to use. My students will work on being together in small groups.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
