My students are a diverse group of hard workers! They come to school every day excited to learn something new. All of my students are capable of great things and need opportunities to access technology in order to succeed.
My third grade classroom is made up of 24 amazing students - most come from low-income families and one-half are English language learners.
My goal as a teacher is to provide my community of learners with creative, challenging, and meaningful learning experiences every day. Despite the many challenges my students experience outside of school, they know that when they walk through the door of our classroom I expect their best, and I will do all I can to help them reach their potential.
My students are so excited to learn about science! One of our favorite areas is engineering - third graders are great problem solvers, and they love to test out their solutions to design challenges.
The Air Drop Package engineering kit will make it exciting and easy for us to explore the world of engineering.
With this kit, my students will experience an engaging story and have the chance to explore different ways to solve an engineering design challenge. The kit will provide us with all of the materials we need, eliminating one of the biggest barriers we have to science explorations like this. With your help, my students can feel the excitement and satisfaction of being real-world engineers!
