My students enjoy the use math and science in practical activities creating things that improve everyday life.
My students look forward to moving on from high school continue their education in a college or vocational/trade training program, many of them looking toward the military to pay for their college.
My students are energized about learning math and engineering as they are actually seeing it in real world applications in a project they have built. Seeing the practical applications fosters growth in knowledge.
High Visibility safety helmets will protect the students in this years competition and in years to come.
As we talk about structures and materials we discuss why things are designed they way they are. the safety implications of materials and how to make better products. Our Electric vehicle is designed with safety in mind in order to enter the competition. This year it is our intent to enter two vehicles with two teams in the spring competition.
