My students attend a Title I school where 100% of the students are on free or reduced lunch. The majority of my students are of Hispanic heritage. A great deal of my students are not fluent in English. Our school was affected by Hurricane Harvey and we want to inspire our students to focus on education even though the year started out slow.
My students are so eager to learn different things and they love hands on learning.
My students are so full of life and I love watching them learn. I know this project will inspire them to learn more about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
We spend a great deal of money on t-shirts in my school and we can save money by making them in house. We can further use that money to fund other educational things.
The heat transfer machine will allow my students to create their own shirts so they can raise funds for other Engineering projects and save money by making our own shirts.
My students are learning the art of Engineering and the projects they have cost money.
The students will use the 3D Printer to make projects in the Engineering club and they will use the micro-bit to make innovative things in Engineering club. These items will take my students efforts of engineering and raising their own funds to fund other projects to an all time high for middle school.
