My Students

My students come from a small rural town in Utah and despite the lack of school funding or perhaps in virtue of it, exceed educational norms. Your contributions help make their dreams come true. These intellectual giants have decided to introduce themselves...

We believe that school is to be enjoyed, not simply endured and we earnestly and wholeheartedly strive to become better students so that we might one day be the change that this world needs."

My Project

These materials will continue to enhance the rich project-based learning environment in our STEM classroom which was interrupted learning as a result of COVID-19. Our Students already have a strong foundation in using the scientific process, basic math concepts, new technology, and the engineering and design process to solve 21st century problems. With new technology (Cricut maker and iPad), students have the opportunity to transfer ideas to the digital world and then bring those creations to life.

Our class is ready to go!

We have a Cricut maker and iPad; now we need the materials (fabrics, cricut and iPad accessories, and art supplies) to get the ball rolling. Under the supervision of the teacher, students will have the opportunity to carefully choose from the specific supplies listed in this project, gain access to the latest design technology, and make their work come to life! Students will use the cricut maker materials to print designs onto clothing, cut fabric, engrave on wood and metal, and use the art supplies to transfer artistic designs to heat transfer fabrics. Students have been able to design projects but due to Covid-19, students have been limited to hands on projects. This project will allow all students the opportunity to get to engineer, design, and bring their projects to life!
