This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a very energetic and creative group of kindergartners. They love to learn through play and share what they have learned with their friends and family. They love to get their hands on things to learn how things work and they love to create new things. Their little faces light up when they learn about new concepts and get the opportunity explore them through hands on experiences. They are loving, kind and the sweetest group of kids you could ever meet.

My Project

Help me ignite the passion for learning in a creative way. Young children learn about their world through creative play. When given the opportunity to explore and create, children gain self confidence, pride in their work and motivation to become self guided learners.

With this play set, my students will have the opportunity to choose their building materials and start building what they have pictured in their creative little heads.

They will work on also get to work on their linguistic skills because little ones love sharing what they are making with their friends. Please help me provide this wonderful opportunity for learning to my kinder class.
