This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth-grade students come to class each day with a desire to learn. Providing them with high-quality texts and stories that keep them interested and focused while still learning is difficult. I have the privilege to teach students from diverse backgrounds.

Most of my students qualify for free or reduced-price meals.

My students are English Language Learners. My students are eager to learn but lack the foundational skills in the areas of reading and writing. Background vocabulary is one of the areas that is impacting their reading comprehension skills.

My Project

I will be working with students in small groups during online learning sessions for math and literacy. I want to be able to use technology to bridge any learning gaps that they may have due to the new normal of remote learning.

These are basic tools that I need to engage my students while they are learning remotely and when they return to the classroom.

The Teach n' Go Cart will allow me to maximize instruction. The Teach n' Go cart will facilitate the layout of the different technology components for teaching such as: laptop and document camera
