Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a classroom full of fun-loving and energetic students. They crave the interactive and hands-on activities that allow them to manipulate and create things. They are constantly challenging themselves and those around them. They are very inquisitive and will take the time to research and find the answers to their questions.
They are hard workers.
I am very proud of what they have accomplished so far, and I know that they are going to be great leaders in this world.
My Project
These STEM activities, such as the K'NEX Thrill Rides and IQ Builder, will be used for a variety of activities. They will be used by my GT students to allow them opportunities for enrichment. It will help my struggling and At-Risk students by having access to hands on activities.
They will be able to get creative and practice building.
In addition, they will be learning those key problem solving traits that are so important in this world. What is more important than being able to work cooperatively? These activities will definitely help build these real world skills. We are eager to jump in and start creating!
