Engaging Social Studies Classroom

Help me give my students opportunities to use the iPad when they forget theirs at home or their iPad isn't functioning correctly. A monitor will help in providing student feedback at my desk.

My Students

We are a rural community just outside of Utah County so there is a lot of diversity and culture and ethnicity here. Our district emphasizes using technology and the students are well versed in using iPads, chromebooks, etc. We have a 1 to 1 student to iPad ratio in our district which brings a lot of opportunities but also it's occasional challenges.

My Project

We often use iPads in our class and frequently student's forget theirs at home. Having a classroom iPad will be helpful in cases like this. A monitor will provide opportunities for me to have conversations with students at my desk and provide feedback about their work. It can be difficult on my laptop or on a iPad screen. The rest of the items in my cart will help with decorations in my classroom. I am a new teacher and my walls are empty. I want to provide inspirational messages for my students rather than an empty white wall.
