Engaging Science Supplies for an Engaging Education!
Help me give my students a chance to get hands-on with more science materials, such as the light box kit and the water cycle model, which will help us understand the topics better.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to be engaged in the learning process. They will always participate and ask relevant questions. They do not settle for just being told "this is why this happens", they want to understand the processes behind.
I could not ask for a group of students to be more actively engaged in their own education than these students already are.
These students are very deserving of being rewarded with additional learning resources in order to help keep their engagement up.
My Project
These materials will help push my students to dig even deeper into their science knowledge. They will have even more opportunities to interact with the materials to help provide a clear idea of what is going on.
When you can get your hands-on materials in the science classroom, your level of understanding can increase dramatically.
The light box and the Newton color disc will help reinforce the topic of light energy and reflection and refraction. The stream table will allow us to have a large example of how the Earth can be changed by water. The water cycle model will help to visualize a process that takes up much more space and time then we have in one class period. All of the other materials will also help us engage the students in various other topics in science.
