This is my sixth year teaching 3rd grade students at my school. Over the past two years, our standards of learning have been updated in all subject areas. New topics of study have been added and new strategies to teach have been implemented. My school is located outside of Washington, D.C. and has a high military family population. We are proud of our school, community, and strive to work together so we can all succeed.
A resource library with new, up-to-date, and engaging materials is what I hope to provide to my students.

My Project
My students are best engaged when they have a choice. Center work plays an important role in our classroom. Having many and varied options supports engagements. Teachers Pay Teachers has an enormous catalog of resources that best fit our standards of learning.
My goal is to always provide my students the best resources available.
Teachers Pay Teachers supports the passion while providing engaging resources. Other items in the project allow me to prep and organize materials so they will last and also include some of the most current mentor texts to support literacy interest. Kids deserve it.
