My Students

My students come from all walks of life, and every socioeconomic class. We're a smaller, rural middle school serving grades 6 - 8 in the historic town of Norris, Tennessee.

At Norris Middle School, our staff, students, and parents are serious about learning, not just test scores.

We continue to strive for excellence in learning. We truly believe that all students can learn all subjects and are constantly stretching our students to do their best. Good enough is not good enough at NMS. Our students are expected to think and problem solve, develop their reading and writing skills, while focusing on the future and being college and career ready.

My Project

In today's classroom, students need to be more engaged in their learning. This teaching aid enlivens classroom activities with just the press of a button. The wireless format means we could use the Eggspert buzzers anywhere in the classroom with no limitations. Question and answer sessions and other activities just got a lot more fun and interactive with this great way to reinforce content of any subject area.

Wireless Eggspert has two unique modes- Quiz Show and Scrambled Eggs.

In Quiz Show mode, the "host" poses a question and the first student to press his or her "answer button" with the correct answer earns the points. With Scrambled Eggs mode, the answer buttons are not necessarily needed except to differentiate teams. The Wireless Eggspert picks who will answer a question!
