My Students
Our school is part of a small community and holds a very special place for me as a parent, teacher, and community member. One-third of our students are from military families and our school works very hard to maintain positive connections with these families for as long as they may be stationed here.
These connections ensure the success of each of our students and their families despite the changes and hardships they may face.
These children continue to come to school each and every day eager and excited to learn. They are amazing and add joy to every day!
My Project
I want to provide a set of lab coats for my kindergarten students to wear as we conduct science experiments both inside and outside our classroom.
These lab coats will help boost excitement and engagement for science, allowing each child to become an inquisitive, lifelong learner!
Dressing as scientists and researchers will give my students the chance to embody a professional role as they make hypotheses, observe, and conduct experiments. My little "Einsteins" will also make predictions and record their conclusions all while looking, thinking, AND becoming confident scientists.
