My Students

As a teacher in a Title I school, my students are faced challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences in a caring environment.

My students are kind, loving and eager learners.

They thrive with love and positive attention. Many of them receive a free breakfast & lunch based on their socioeconomic status. These things may prevent them from getting ahead early in life and may not provide them with the life experiences many of us see as "typical". From the minute they walk in the door of my classroom I focus on their potential and growth while they are with me. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day. By doing this in a creative and positive way, I am hopeful to inspire even our earliest learners to continue on a path of academic excellence.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a great website to find new and different ways to teach students, written and created by teachers for teachers. I'm requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase grade-level resources and activities for my students.

The highly engaging resources available are based on grade level standards that are current and relevant to my second graders.

A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will enable me to effectively teach at a high standard and will be incredibly beneficial for my students. This gift will allow me access to thousands of resources. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are creative and highly engaging to my second graders!
