My Project
My students engage their minds through writing. In my classes, students have assignments that require art supplies almost daily. Each student has an English notebook, this allows them to cut and glue their mentor text (example writing), graphic organizers, highlight elements we are focusing on, improve their writing through editing, and more. The office supplies in this project are crucial for the learning of my students. When they color code their writing to be sure they have all the parts and pieces required, it is really easy to see what needs to be revised to improve their piece. The pride they have in their writing is great to see after completing the writing process. All my students would benefit from this project being funded as the office supplies used daily to complete classroom tasks in crucial in the learning process of writing and English.
