My Project

Offering diverse books on a wide range of reading levels will allow my students to connect with books and encourage a love of reading. Students in my class are allowed a choice in selecting books to read independently. Having books that cover a variety of genres and themes, allows students to find literature that speaks to them. Many of my students are not on grade level and have become frustrated with required reading. Giving them high-interest books restores their willingness to explore the wonders of reading. The goal is to make them life-long readers.
