My students are active and inquisitive! Our school is comprised of 14 different languages and a high number of free/reduced price lunch students. They live very diverse lives and bring some wonderful things to our classroom family! They are eager to learn, love being in school, and love a challenge!
They are developing leaders, world travelers, scientists, mathematicians, entrepreneurs, teachers, engineers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful life.
We explore, discover, design, debate, challenge, and defend daily.
My Project
My students would love to have options to sit around the room and do their work. Post it charts will help keep their new learning anchored to the walls around them.
We are a sixth-grade center and this is the first the 11-12 year-olds haven't had a recess.
They need the options to get up and move to help them focus throughout the day. These seating options will help them be more comfortable, engaged, and productive throughout the day.
I also have several kids with ADHD who need to wiggle and move. The Kore chairs will offer them a chance to wiggle and move at their seats while still being productive and engaged in learning.
