My Students

As an educator, I'm committed to meeting the academic, social, and emotional needs of my students. Though my students come from diverse backgrounds, they all desire to understand the world outside our small community. They also want to succeed in school and develop the skills that are necessary for college and career readiness, though many struggle to regulate their emotions and understand their potential. The last two years have exacerbated these challenges.

My students are motivated to explore our world and expand their scientific knowledge.

My Project

My students are finally back in person for full-time learning. They love exploring the world and are extremely interested in science. The COVID-19 pandemic has taught them just how important science is to the average person. It's also shown them the importance of collaborating to solve problems.

Your donation will provide my students with additional hands on scientific models, tools, and resources.

I've chosen these items because they extend activities that my students already enjoy: my human body, skull, brain, and skeleton models are some of my students favorite items to explore and manipulate. Before school starts, students connect, build, and research the structures in front of them. During this time, students are working together and exploring. This time sets the foundation for a productive day. I've selected other 3D models, prisms, tools, and increase the number of students who are able to participate. I've also selected books to diversify the scientific section of our library.
