Help me give my students the opportunity to have educational and engaging learning games by having a set of 4 Amazon Fire Tablets. My Kindergarteners will be able to practice letters, sight words, numbers, and reading skills.

I teach 29 amazing Kindergarten students who have found a joy of learning by being in my classroom! It is such a privilege to be their teacher. Watching them learn and grow both socially and academically brings a smile to my face.
My 29 Kindergarteners are fun-loving, thoughtful, curious, and inquisitive learners.
They love engaging in hands-on learning during our daily Group Center Time. All of my students come from a low socioeconomic status and most of them do not have access to technology. Despite their circumstances, they come to school ready to learn and with an open mind.
Having a set of 4 Fire Tablets will allow small groups of students to work independently on the skills they need to help them succeed. Some of my students are working on letter and sound recognition, while others are working towards sight word mastery. With thousands of educational apps to choose from, I will be able to find specific education learning games to best meet the needs of individual students.
The Fire Tablets will allow my students to practice independent reading in a fun and engaging way.
There are many apps that allows access to thousands of books that my students would enjoy. We currently do not have any Tablets or student computers in the classroom. Most of my students do not have technology at home and their parents are not able to afford it because my school is located in a very low socioeconomic neighborhood. 100% of the students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch.
I’m hoping that the Tablets will be another resource to use in my classroom to help all of my 29 Kindergarteners to succeed.
