My learners are imaginative, thoughtful, and creative. They come to school everyday ready to challenge themselves and their understanding of new concepts. Their creativity and unique ideas are demonstrated daily through a variety of learning opportunities. Their ability to work hard no matter what may be going on outside of school is truly inspiring. Providing them with resources and tools continues to encourage their engagement and desire to achieve. Having these extra materials will enhance the learning completed by each learner.

My Project
These materials will provide my learners with hands on opportunities to explore learning in new ways. Materials will be incorporated into team learning activities, individual exploration, and manipulatives for whole group lessons. Having new items will allow for enhanced engagement and exploration of not only math skills, but will allow for STEM in the classroom.
Learners will be able to use these materials during stations, as well as self directed learning.
This project will help me to start Friday exploration time. During this time, learners will be able to select materials that they want to use in order to meet a challenge that they are given. Sometimes, they will also have the option of designing their own challenge.
