"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." -Dr. Seuss.
As a teacher and life-long learner, I want to be able to provide my students the opportunity to develop their knowledge and the love of learning through a safe, encouraging, and strong classroom learning environment.
Teachers work hard over the summer to prepare their classrooms for their students, which means teachers need to continue their learning too.
Teachers want their classrooms to be a wonderful and welcoming place. This is my fifteenth year teaching, and I want to make the most out of it for my amazing students. Unfortunately, Professional Development Funding was removed from 2018 - 2020 budget in my state.
I teach third grade in a large, public school district. I have an inclusion classroom that is driven by inquiry-based learning and innovative learning. My students are challenged to be problem solvers and thinkers. We work on working together as teams. It is an active and engaging learning environment that is designed with the students in mind.
My Project
By attending the Get Your Teach On conference I will be able to learn about the most current research-based methods that have proven to be effective in 3-5 classrooms. My students would benefit in all areas!
A HUGE perk of attending the Get Your Teach On conference would be collaborating with other teachers who are passionate about teaching just as I am.
This workshop will give me the tools and resources I need in order to bring my lessons to life and make learning fun for my students. Get Your Teach On will be a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge.
