My school is made up of a family of learners both as staff, parents, students, and the community. Our students come to our school because they want to and because their parents have chosen our school for them. Our school has a vision of connection to the world and dedicated staff to deliver meaningful learning experiences that will prepare our students for an interactive, fast moving, technological world.
Our students are engaged learners.
They learn through discovery and hands-on lessons that connect to the real world. Our students are active learners and enjoy learning and reaching out to the community for additional help and support.
Our students are from diverse backgrounds and come to us from different neighborhoods. However, they are a family of learners and doers with the same vision of becoming the best person they can be and becoming an integral part of our community and eventually world.
My Project
The document camera will make a difference in our students learning by enabling them to share their work with the class and explain to the class how they achieved the correct answer. It is a great way for kiddos to share their work and teach others their strategies.
Teachers can actively engage the students in a lesson by inviting them to the camera.
Students help other students with understanding a lesson or explaining their answers to the class; especially in today's Math instruction.
Also, the document camera enables the students and teachers to share/model lesson pictures, writing, artwork ... It is a great tool for all classroom settings.
