I teach 17 adorably sweet and active first graders. They have a huge passion for learning and love to be involved in every aspect of the classroom. I have such an encouraging and motivated group of students. I have the future of the world in my classroom, and I love that I get to spend my days teaching them and learning from them.
My kids love to be involved, engaged, and active in all parts of the classroom and the learning process.
School can be an amazing space for students to thrive, and I want to help my students love and enjoy school. I teach students from a diverse range of socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, which provides an amazing opportunity to learn and grow from each other. I am constantly in pursuit of making my classroom an inviting and exciting environment for my students.
The English language contains a number of confusing phonics rules, and letters that do not always follow these rules! Secret Stories gives students a fun way to remember and learn the most common rules with creative stories. Students are able to learn and get to know these phonics rules like they are a real person!
When multiple parts of the brain are working together, learning is doubled and students experience even greater success.
The stories not only help students learn the sounds, but also help them learn how to properly form each sound with their mouths. The posters included help students remember each story and letter sound through silly pictures. I would love to engage my students in this learning process through these exciting and silly stories related to the most popular phonics patterns.
