Every child learns and experiences the world around them differently. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are.
My Project
The students will engage in Reading lessons through Flocabulary.com. This website teaches new vocabulary visually and musically. We use this website frequently to help students connect with the learning and appeal to different learning styles.
Students love to play the vocabulary games and immerse in the learning through interactive and cooperative activities that accompany the lessons.
We are expanding our classroom library and creating an inviting reading space. Students will use their book bins to bring their good-fit books right alongside them on the rug. As they develop and gather new vocabulary in our lessons, they will apply their learning as they read new and exciting books in their book bins.
