Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work in a low income community, where resources are limited. My students are creative, and enjoy learning about our diverse world. My students are all unique in their own way and have mixed interests, learning to be themselves and accept others.
The struggle my students have today, is the strength they are developing for tomorrow.
My students need the hands on tools to become our future mathematicians, engineers, and biochemist of the world.
My students teach me to become a better person.
My Project
The materials will make a difference in my students education because they will be able to construct and use the evidence to explain how energy can transfer from place to place. Using a variety of observations to see how energy is transferred.
The windmill will help my students see the connection between wind and power.
Students who conduct hands-on experiments will find fun and interest in science. We will be helping students begin to learn that science and math is fun! My students will write their own hypothesis and conduct an experiment through trial and error. My students will be ecstatic to get their hands on the circuit kit and watermill.
