My Students
We are Investigators! I want to provide my students with exciting experiences across all content areas.
I am the blessed teacher of 16 bright, inquisitive first graders.
They never cease to amaze me with their fearless attitude when it comes to learning new things. Our school is located in a low-socioeconomic area. Although our school district does everything it can to provide as many resources as possible for our students, often the resources I would like to provide for my students are simply unavailable.
My Project
These snacks would allow our students to have enough energy to keep on learning throughout the day and grow their brains! If we can make sure they get a snack, they will be able to better focus and really build the fundamental knowledge necessary for them to go onto the next grade and continue to be successful throughout school.
This project is important because our students have a very long day and need a variety of yummy snacks to help them stay engaged in learning.
If we can give them the smallest thing like an afternoon snack, they will be able to keep up their energy and learn even more in the exhausting afternoons.
