My students need 5 supplies to learn about the economy and to create their own classroom economy.

My Students

My students need to learn real world skills and how to work together to accomplish a goal. They are a great group of individuals that need to learn teamwork.

My students are from a very low economic area and attend a Title 1 school.

Students in my class qualify for free lunches and have trouble purchasing their own school supplies. They love to be given responsibilities in the classroom because it makes them feel like they belong and are a vital part of the classroom.

My Project

I am requesting the materials I need to create classroom mailbox system. Students will be able to work on their writing skills while they send and receive mail through our mailman. Students will also be able to work on their social skills as they learn to effectively communicate with their peers.

Having my project funded will not only make a difference in my classroom, but also in the lives of my students.

They will be able to work in a "real-world" setting to build skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
