My students need to be able to focus when in the classroom. These type of fidgets will allow them to be on-task, yet be able to move when they have energy.
I am a 4th and 5th grade ESE teacher. I teach students who have a special need but are in a general education classroom. Often this type of student becomes a behavior issue due to their inability to sit still and focus.
My students are some of the lowest performing in the school.
This is often due to the fact that they are unable to focus. By having these fidgets my students will be able to focus and complete their work.
My Project
My special needs students are very hyper; they can use these items to help them to stay in their area in the classroom, thus allowing them to focus.
These fidget items will also assist in making other students distracted with off
task behaviors.
The fidget bands allow students to bounce their feet on the band to release extra energy while staying in their seat.
The fidget rings allow students with sensory needs to quietly use the fidget to keep them on task.
