In my kindergarten class this year, I have 19 energetic kiddos. I have 11 girls and 8 boys. They make it easy to foster an environment that is positive because they are all friends. This can make it difficult to contain the amount of talking between friends, but overall they are getting better each day. They are excited to learn new things. Therefore, they have a lot of ideas to help us in our learning.
Every student in our class has a voice.
I use the ideas that they share in class to drive my instruction and let me tell you they are full of wonderful ideas! You would be surprised the things that we have been able to learn already this year because of the students and what they bring to the table. I cannot wait to see what this fun, loving bunch of kids accomplish this year!!
My Project
Please help me supply my students with flexible seating options. We are requesting Flex-Space Balance Balls to use during our manage independent learning stations. This will help improve our focus by allowing the students to move while learning.
My kinesthetic kindergarten learners need to be able to move.
These seats will help them improve focus and get more out of my instruction. My students decided that these seats would help them. My students also decided to write our principal a letter requesting them. I decided to try to make this happen for my students! I am excited to see their faces light up when they walk into our classroom and see these seats!
