Fit in Fourth! My students from Southwestern Pennsylvania love to move and learn! I want to provide various tools such as stand up desks, seat bands, and clipboards to organize the students while encouraging more active learning. Students love it, and that's exactly what flexible seating is about. Happier kids lead to healthier kids, better engagement and better results. What's there to beat? The facts don't lie. Physical activity has been proved over and over again to improve academic performance.
If kids can't sit still for 8 hours straight, then maybe we shouldn't expect them to!
My Project
My students are motivated and encouraged to move as much as possible. Once school starts, their energy level should not decrease! This project will allow students to make decisions that allow them to be active while completing their work! The seat bands and balance boards are needed so that they can finally move while they work instead of feeling trapped at their desks all day.
Since every learner is different, many choices are provided to allow for individual choices!
The dry erase clipboards will allow students to complete work on the clipboard and also organize their work when not in the traditional sit-down desks!
