Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are four year olds. They come to school ready to start building the foundations of their learning. I have a morning and afternoon session, which means I teach 40 students with different interests and abilities. They are eager to explore and learn in many different ways even though many of them don't speak English.
The students make every minute count, and they are becoming lifelong learners on the road to reaching their dreams.
Their school day is only three hours so they need to get the most of every learning experience I can offer them.
My Project
The end of the year is fast approaching. We are in need of a few supplies to help the students end the year learning up to the last minute.
The writing boards will help us continue to work on writing our letters and numbers, the housekeeping supplies will help us use our imagination, and the sensory boards will help the students continue to develop their fine motor skills.
All these wonderful supplies together will help the students not skip a beat as the end of the year comes to a close. Help us become the best kindergartners we can be!
