This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of the sweetest little six year olds you could ever imagine! I have 26 first graders in a low income area. We are severely lacking in the supplies that we need for the end of the year, and for next year!

Since COVID-19, my students have come in to 1st grade lacking the foundational skills that they usually have.

These supplies would help us immensely in continuing our learning, and getting our kids back where they are suppose to be in their academics and in social- emotional learning.
