Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students from Camden, NJ are young outgoing, creative, enthusiastic individuals full of fun-filled questions!
They have a love for hands-on activities in an engaging classroom environment.
We are heading into the 2nd half of the year and my students continue to amaze me day after day. They are constantly looking to better themselves and gain knowledge on a daily basis. Each student brought the basics to school but is in need of bigger and better essentials to grow their language arts and social studies adventure.
These items consist of basic standard classroom supplies that we have officially ran out of. Each student was provided with a mesh zipper bag in the beginning of the year that consisted of all the essentials they needs, such as color pencils, crayons, sharpies, etc. As we move into the holidays and end of the year is quickly approaching I have a ton of fun activities planned and supplies are running at an all time low.
Besides essentials, I am also in need of a teachers pay teachers gift card. This will allow me to grow my collection of educational centers, games, and classroom activities. The kids love the fun interactive activities I have found over the years from this amazing resource.
