Encouraging Hands-on Learning With an Easel at Their Level!

My Students

My school has been serving K-6 students, both military dependents and local residents, since 1956 as part of the Hawaii State Department of Education. My classroom integrates a remarkably diverse population that includes Filipinos, Caucasians, African-Americans, Samoans, and Asian-Americans.

I am an elementary school special education teacher, teaching students where small groups, close proximity, and acceptance is very important.

We are an inclusion classroom this year, where many of my students range in abilities, which makes my classroom a fun and unique environment to be a part of.

My Project

This easel, with organized storage sections, will transform my morning circle into an interactive time of learning and exploring. There are so many things to do with this cart but the biggest thing it will provide is a station for the teacher to pull out all her magic tricks, and for students to be prepared to use multiple methods of learning at once. Magnetic, whiteboard, storage, Big Book holder, and rings to hold up anchor charts to display!

This easel is a 3-Dimential experience for both the teacher and the student!

Lessons can move from morning business, to language arts, and beyond. Great for small or larger group instruction!
