This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Do you remember a time when we could only dream about the technological advances that are accessible today; a phone/computer that can be put in your pocket or prints that go beyond paper? My students truly embrace technology. They are compassionate, creative, and full of questions. Students often use these questions to guide their learning.

My students love engaging projects, hands-on activities, and experiments that require them to make models and expand on their thinking.

They come to school ready to learn and eager to explore. Our learning community is truly amazing, and I enjoy each day with them.

My Project

The Dremel 3D45 will give my students access to a tool that engineers and scientists use to create change in the world. Students need to know that regardless of where they are from, they can use their creative abilities in a positive and effective way. The Dremel 3D45 printer will enable my students to become a part of an online 3D printing community. Students will be able to collaborate with their peers on designs around the world and build camaraderie among themselves. This 3D printer will help my students solve real world problems and take STEM and the Science Fair to a whole new level!
