My Project

I have been providing snacks to my students (and many who are not) for several years now. I have seen the faces of excitement to see a full snack bowl, and the disappointment when the snack bowl is empty.

We're getting close to having an empty snack bowl.

While students have the ability to purchase snacks at the store, many do not have the finances to do so. Food insecurity is a real problem in our area. By providing snacks like chips and dip/salsa these students are able to have a full stomach, which gives them a better chance of being successful in school.
