Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are a Title I school in a rural setting. My school today faces the complexity of difficult challenges to overcome. Our classrooms are filled with children of diverse needs, from those ranging from strong and healthy, to those who have emotional, physical, and learning difficulties. My students have so much to share and thrive when learning. Watching children become successful and learn how to read is such a rewarding experience. Many of my student's families struggle financially and do not have the resources at home. I want to have the best instruction and all material available for my students to become successful adults and lifelong learners.
My Project
I want to provide knowledge to my students about the different cultures in the world. The iPad that I am asking for will come in handy for "Fun Fridays" I am planning to engage the students in cultural facts. This will help them understand the different cultures and be more informed about inclusion. With the iPad, I plan on downloading different engaging resources such as books, videos, and activities. The Apple pencil that I am asking for will be useful when I navigate through the iPad. This iPad will also be beneficial to the students when they are able to come back to school since they will be able to do different activities with it.
