Empowering Students to be Active Learners with Technology
My students need 2 Chromebooks to access educational games, books, and other resources online. This will make the curriculum more interactive and engaging.
My students are creative, curious, and eager to learn. I teach 22 amazing students who are each unique in their backgrounds and learning styles. While some of their home lives may not be ideal, they still come to school with a positive attitude and a smile on their face. It just amazes me the circumstances these 6 and 7 year olds are able to overcome.
I am committed to making a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child feels loved and supported.

My Project
Technology is an integral part of our society. Utilizing technology is very important in classrooms today.
We need to empower students to be more involved in their education and learning process.
Chromebooks allow students to tap into the power of the internet and gives them access to fun, interactive, and meaningful games and websites. I want to provide my students with a fun, engaging alternative to practice and reinforce their skills.
The Lenovo Chromebooks will be utilized to assist children with reading, phonics, writing, science, and even math! They will be used collaboratively where students can work together on assignments and projects. Learning will be individualized during centers when students have access to activities on their level. Students will be introduced to new opportunities with access to the technology, like coding, for instance.
My hope is to take a break from the traditional textbooks and worksheets and make learning come alive for my students.
