Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are struggling learners, they are ashamed to be in my class because my course is listed on their schedules. They are the lowest 25% - 35% of their grade levels. These students are the Intensive Reading students in grades 9-12. These students are so special because even though passing the state test is hindering them from graduation, most of them would still like to earn a college degree or enter the workforce. I need your help as some are loosing hope! With your generous donation, I hope to make an impact on their educational environment which will help them build the skills and confidence to pass the state test or the alternative test.

My Project

I recently surveyed my students and learned that although most of them are familiar with Apple products, most of them have never used it in the classroom because it is too expensive for the system to purchase! My vision is to create a technological classroom where my students explore their learning by using multiple technological sources.

Donations to this project will allow my students to reach their maximum potential and be exposed to a new technology device.

These new iPads will allow me to download educational applications and allow the students to access other forms of class websites that will improve their deficiencies and make them learning gains.
