Emotive Vases

Help me give my students glaze and tools for their emotive coil vases

My Project

Help us purchase glaze to paint out vases in Ceramics class. Students learn coil techniques to create a vase inspired by an emotion. Students take the emotion and interpret it artistically through shape and color. Students also learn the importance of taking care of their mental health. Students are provided tips and tools to alleviate stress through the use of art--more specifically ceramics. Students pick an emotion that they are currently feeling, have felt in the past, or wish to feel. They explore this in a safe way through the use of art and clay. The supplies, tools & glazes purchased will allow us a wide variety of colors to use that can encompass different emotions.
