My Project

Research shows that crocheting and knitting are an effective stress reliever for individuals. The students at our school are hard workers but often come with personal traumas and stressors that make it difficult to learn emotional regulation skills. As someone who learned how effective crocheting can be to assist in calming down and refocusing when feelings are out of control or feel out of control for individuals, I look forward to working with students to ensure they learn this skill as well.

Because of your generosity, this project will ensure students learn a creative skill, crocheting, to assist in regulating their emotions and calming down when they feel out of control.

These items will help our students find a positive outlet for their emotions. Thank you for considering donating to our project!
