I love that I get to teach every student grades kindergarten through fourth in my schooI. I get to teach physical education to over 200 students every week and it is the best job ever. Every grade level and class is unique in its own way.
My students are caring, responsible, hard-working, curious, creative, enthusiastic and funny.
We get to have a lot of fun while being active and we take the time to learn and appreciate the importance of keeping our minds and bodies healthy. It has been wonderful watching each of my students grow into their own person year after year. I love my position at AES and am lucky that I get to work with such an amazing group of kids!
My Project
Snowshoeing is a lifelong physical activity that can provide many health benefits especially during a time when our activity levels may be lower due to weather and shorter days! The snowshoes that are purchased through this project will engage student learning and focus on many health related areas such as cardio, strength, agility, balance and endurance.
Students will have the opportunity to access our nature trail, play games on the field and enjoy fresh air!
To give students new opportunities to enjoy activity and embrace their health is the best outcome with this project. Furthermore, students who love snowshoeing may want to experience this activity with their family.
