My ESOL students come from a variety of different backgrounds.

Many of them are born in the United States. They are learning English as a second (or third) language. The majority of them are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch. They are all eager to learn

My Project

My students will use the listening center to practice their listening skills of the English language. They will listen to books on CD. This will also help improve their reading fluency and allow them to hear books at a higher level they they are currently able to read on their own.

Your donation will help my ESOL students to improve their English listening skills.

This is a vital skill for all students to master, especially those learning English as a second language.
